Jumping Levels - Total Wrestler Development Camp

Who: Wrestlers ages 8-18 with at least 1 season of experience. (8-12 year olds need at least 2+ seasons of experience and understand basic wrestling concepts). Only attend if the wrestler is serious about improving.

This camp is designed for wrestlers looking to make the jump from average to great. We will not only teach technical skills, but also focus on strength training/physical performance and mindset training. More importantly, wrestlers will create a personal plan for achieving their goals.

The purpose of this camp is to determine action steps and start developing habits that will be used AFTER the camp is over. This camp will focus on the following:

Stance, movement and footwork
Handfighting pace & chaining set ups
Finishing shots based on common opponent reactions
Developing a "go to" series in all positions (top, bottom & neutral) as well as a personal style
Strength training, sports performance and mobility
Mindset skills including goal setting, motivation, focus, grit, dealing with perfectionism and adversity
Individual developmental plan creation (goals, personal assessment & action plan)
Journaling/keeping a wrestling notebook, learning how to evaluate your sessions and things to improve, always having a purpose for practice, utilizing video review, etc.

What to Bring: Lunch, NOTEBOOK or a notes app such as Evernote on your phone, wrestling shoes, headgear, t-shirt, athletic shorts & a bottle of water or sports drink

Schedule: Camp will run 9am - 2pm.
